We salute your service and are here to serve you with addiction recovery solutions specific to your needs as a military veteran. Sacrifices often don’t end when you take off your uniform. Changes in the pace of life, environment, and status affect you as a veteran as you readjust into society after your service to the nation.

We know veterans experience lingering trauma, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, from long deployments, combat experiences, and post-deployment challenges. All of that can lead to substance use disorder and we can help! Sigma Wellness Center is an addiction and mental health treatment center for veterans. The same facilities and treatment available to our patients with top-tier private health insurance is available to our veteran clients at little or no cost to them.

Continuing Case Management

Continuing case management is a process that manages client wellness. This is done using communication, education, and assisting of services.

Expert case managers coordinate all aspects of on-going care after the patient is discharged. The case manager will organize all resources in the client’s home area. They work closely with families to educate them on the client’s options and ensure they have the appropriate care plan. Case managers are constantly networking and building relationships to ensure the patient is going home with proper resources and services.

Veterans and Substance Abuse

Approximately 15% of veterans are struggling with a substance use disorder. On average 17 service members take their own life every day, with many noting addiction as a significant contributing factor. If you are a veteran struggling with substance use disorder, you are not alone. Don’t put off recovery. Get help with Sigma Wellness Center Contact us today at:
The more than 2 million active-duty members of the United States military are no strangers to physical and emotional challenges. Oftentimes, however, these conditions put them at risk for developing an alcohol or drug problem. Addiction can itself become a co-occurring disorder over time and be very difficult to recover from.

Alcohol and drug abuse are considerable threats to the well-being of veterans, many of whom report binge drinking on a monthly basis, and the rates of excessive drinking can be even higher among veterans who have had combat experience. Many service members return from duty with mental health concerns which can lead to or exacerbate substance abuse as well.
